Congdon Park Afterschool Clubs: Music - Drum Club

Instructor: Mr. Garland

The world music drumming group will focus on technique, rhythms, call and response, community, and improvisation in music. Students will learn communication skills, cooperative teamwork, cultural awareness, active and critical listening skills, singing songs from multicultural traditions, and creating their own compositions.

Class will meet on the following Wednesdays: October 25, November 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29

2:15 PM - 3:15 PM Congdon Music Room (217) - Registration fee: $20

Enrollment limited to students who attend Congdon Park Elementary in Grades 4 and 5.
