NIA Meditation: The Body's Way

This class will be conducted via Zoom. Explore the form and function of the human body in this unique, pilot, meditation class. Each class will focus on a new part of the body with a Body's Way Lesson where we will use gentle movements to explore how our bodies function and move. We will then take what we've learned, sit quietly, and be guided in meditation (18-20 min.) as we listen to the Voices of the Body. Body Awareness and Body Gratitude exercises will help us assess changes that may have occurred during our meditation practice. You will need comfortable clothing; a quiet space with room to move about the room, if desired, and a comfortable place to sit quietly in meditation.
