Duluth Community Education provides public access to pool facilities with open swims, swim lessons, and pool rentals. The aquatics program also includes water aerobics, scuba diving, kayaking, specialty training and after school swim teams in the middle school. The pools are operated 11 months of the year.

TIME: 12:15 PM-1:45 PM
COST: $4 or Punch Cards Available from the Lifeguard (10 Punches for $30). Lifeguard supervised. All ages welcome. Perfect for families and groups. There will be special designated lap swim lanes. Balls, water wings, toys, and noodles are not allowed. Bring your own suit and towel. Family locker room area available.

Designed as fun water time for children 6 months to 4 years. An adult must accompany each child in the pool. Includes games, songs, and pre-swimming skills. Each swimmer must have their own suit (or swim diaper) plus a towel.

Beginning Scuba Diving
This class is for beginners, ages 12 and up(students under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian). Classroom and pool time will give you the knowledge and skills to make the open water dives required for certification. The four dives required for certification are not part of the class fee. All equipment is provided including mask, fins and snorkel. There is an equipment fee of $125 payable to the instructor for equipment use and materials. -
Sea Kayak Rescue Techniques
Instructor: Joe Trela Students will learn the basics of sea kayaking. Skills include safe entry and exit of the kayak, self-rescue, and tandem rescue techniques. Kayaks are provided for use. Class is held in the Ordean East pool.
