If you are caring for the children age 5 years and younger of family, friends or neighbors - these sessions are for you! Monthly one-hour sessions will include a circle time with stories, songs, and finger plays. Children and caregivers will participate in activities and experiences that foster children’s social, emotional, cognitive, physical and language skills. Monthly on Tuesdays: Piedmont Elementary School: 10:00 -11:00am or West Duluth Public Library 5:30-6:30pm. Session dates: 9/21, 10/19, 11/16, 1/18, 2/15, 3/15, 4/12 & 5/17 (no Dec date) Participants receive a FREE Center for Inclusive Child Care (CICC) Behavior Tool Kit Learn how the toys in this kit can help support positive behavior in children. Family, Friend and Neighbor caregivers will learn how to use the toys when children are restless or tired, during transitions, to help them focus on stories or projects, and to feel calm when distressed, anxious or overexcited. PLEASE REGISTER ADULT ONLY - questionnaire to be filled out for the child.
