Are you interested in making compost and/or curious about how the Western Lake Superior Sanitary District (WLSSD) makes compost? Join us at WLSSD for a FREE behind-the-scenes tour of our composting system. The tour will discuss the benefits of compost and ways for you to start composting. WLSSD will have supplies to get you started with WLSSD’s drop sites program. Please dress for the weather and wear closed-toed shoes; we’ll be outside and walking onsite for about half of the session.
Class is free, but space is limited. Please register on the Community Education website.
