Amateur Radio: Beginning
General Interest

On-line (ZOOM) instruction for those who want to become Ham Radio operators. Learn communications for weather spotting, marathons, and disasters. Class will cover what you need to know to get your Technician license. We use the current Gordon West Technicians manual that should be purchased on-line before the first night of class for about $25. Local testing on 01/16/2024. More information will be sent to the students before class pertaining to the ZOOM setup, book purchases, and testing options. Imagine all your photos organized and all in one place, permanently, safely and you have a system that lets you find any photo in literally seconds. This includes old slides, movies and memorabilia too. We will talk about scanners and digitizing old media, cloud storage accounts, software for creating digital books and projects, and how to repair damaged photos. Learning to Play Bridge
General Interest

Instructor: Laird Schaub Over the course of 8 weeks, you’ll learn how to play the game, as well as the basic strategy. Each night will consist of instruction followed by card play - learn by doing and have fun at the same time. Class does not meet on: 10/12,10/19, 10/26, 11/23, 12/7.
