Drivers EdSpring Semester Driver Education, Duluth Public Schools Classroom via Distance Learning Classroom Only - No Behind the Wheel Lessons The Duluth Public Schools Driver Education Program will be offering driver education classroom instruction via Google Meet software. To participate students must have an ISD 709 email account. Class #3706 - 3:30-6:05 p.m. Dates: February 22,23,24,25, March 1,2,3,4 8,9,10,11 Class #3707 - 3:30-6 p.m. Dates: March 8,9,10,11,12,15,16,17,18,22,23,24,25 **NOTE: Class start time may change if schools are back to in person learning Program Information: Students must be at least 15 years of age by the last scheduled classroom session and have an ISD 709 email account. Program consists of 30 hours of classroom instruction. Class attendance is mandatory. Computer with camera, microphone, and ISD 709 email account required. Note: Dates above are for online classroom instruction. Students who complete the class will receive a letter that they can take to one of the commercial driving schools in town to register for behind the wheel lessons. Registration: Online registration for this class will begin on Tuesday, February 9 at 8:00 a.m. on the Duluth Community Education website: www.duluthcommunityed.org Classes usually fill up very quickly. Because of high demand, some students who register at 8 a.m. may not get in. Important: This is a new website. You should go to the website before the registration date to create your account. Older accounts are no longer active. Fees: The cost of classroom instruction is $100 and must be paid when registering using Visa, MasterCard or Discover. When registering please use the student’s full legal name (first, middle, last) as it appears on birth certificate and include student’s date of birth. Questions?
