  • Circle of Security (COSP)

    The Circle of Security® Parenting™ program is based on decades of research about how secure parent-child relationships can be supported and strengthened. The sessions are practical skills-based, using video clips, discussion, and handouts to explore children’s emotional needs and build parents’ ability to respond sensitively to those needs. You Will Learn To: • Understand your child’s emotional world by learning to read the emotional needs • Support your child’s ability to successfully manage emotions • Enhance the development of your child's self esteem

    Get fit while learning some new dance moves!  Ballroom, Swing, Belly, and Ecstatic dancing are among our many offerings!
  • Family, Friend & Neighbor (FFN) Sessions

    If you are caring for the children age 5 years and younger of family, friends or neighbors - these sessions are for you! Monthly one-hour sessions will include a circle time with stories, songs, and finger plays. Children and caregivers will participate in activities and experiences that foster children’s social, emotional, cognitive, physical and language skills.

    Are you wanting to learn how to play a new instrument or looking to join an orchestra?  We have an offering for where ever you are in your music journey.
  • Online Instruction Center

    Online and Non-credit Courses and Certificates Learn new personal and professional skills online from home! UGotClass offers online courses and certificates. Students can demonstrate their knowledge while boosting their productivity and their organizations’ bottom line. Expert instructors teach the courses. Participate anytime during the day or evening, using any computer. Duluth Community Education partners with the UGotClass program to offer expanded online learning opportunities for all.
  • Pool Activities

    Duluth Community Education provides public access to pool facilities with open swims, swim lessons, and pool rentals. The aquatics program also includes water aerobics, scuba diving, kayaking, specialty training and after school swim teams in the middle school. The pools are operated 11 months of the year. FALL 2021 - OPEN SWIM INFORMATION Mondays: Saturdays: 9/20-12/13 9/18-12/18 (no swim 10/23 or 11/27) 6:45 PM-8:00 PM 11:30 AM-1:30 PM COST: $4 or Punch Cards Available from the Lifeguard (10 Punches for $30). Lifeguard supervised. All ages welcome. Perfect for families and groups. There will be special designated lap swim lanes. Balls, water wings, toys, and noodles are not allowed.
