We will discuss the popular YouTube website that offers 1000s of free informative and entertaining videos, show a few email tips and tricks, demonstrate online shopping, visit AARP and other related websites for seniors, use some shortcut keys, and navigate Google Search to do research and get information. So, if you have been frustrated with other classes, consider taking this refreshing and informative computer class for older adults! You won’t be disappointed!

Instructor: Robert Schulz On-line instruction for those who want to become Ham Radio operators. Learn communications for weather spotting, marathons, and disasters as well as chatting around the world via radio. The ZOOM classes will cover what you need to know to get your Technician license, using the Gordon West Technician Manual. Local testing available on last day of class in Duluth, MN but others will be shown local options near their location. In this class you’ll understand recommended safety settings on popular social media apps, parental apps for your child’s Smartphone, and more! This class takes place online. You will be sent the meeting link before class begins.

Instructor will discuss scams to know about; frustrating and suspicious popups; advertisements; your haywire computer, e-mail ads, and links. (Not for Apple/Mac users, or tablets.) You will view how to use calculations such as AutoSum and see how to generate simple formulas.
